1. Who we are

KOVIQ ("we," "us," "our") is operated by Grigore Larjean, based in Ireland. These Terms govern your access to and use of the KOVIQ website, application, and related services (the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What KOVIQ does

KOVIQ provides two core capabilities:

• AI Video Generator: Given a topic (or an automatically generated one, depending on your settings), KOVIQ uses third-party AI services to write a script, generate images, synthesize a voiceover, and render a complete short-form vertical video.
• Clip Creator: Given a link to an existing video, or by monitoring YouTube channels you choose to track, KOVIQ uses a third-party service to identify and extract short highlight clips from that source video.

Both features support manual mode (you review and approve each result before anything is posted) and autopilot mode (content is generated and, depending on your settings, published automatically on a schedule you configure, without your review).

KOVIQ can publish generated videos and clips directly to social media accounts (currently YouTube, with TikTok and Instagram planned) that you explicitly connect via OAuth. KOVIQ only publishes to accounts you have connected and authorized.

3. Your responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• Reviewing autopilot output. If you enable autopilot mode without review, content is published to your connected accounts automatically, without a human checking it first. You are responsible for configuring this appropriately and for the consequences of anything published this way.
• Rights to clipped content. The Clip Creator feature extracts and republishes portions of videos from creators you choose to track or link. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights, permissions, or licenses to clip, repost, and monetize that content. KOVIQ does not verify ownership or licensing on your behalf and is not responsible for copyright claims, takedowns, or disputes arising from clipped content you choose to publish.
• Compliance with platform rules. Content published via KOVIQ to YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or any other connected platform must comply with that platform's own terms of service and community guidelines. Violations may result in penalties from that platform (including account suspension) that are entirely outside KOVIQ's control.
• Lawful use. You will not use KOVIQ to generate or publish content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or otherwise violates applicable law.
• Account security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Age requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to create a KOVIQ account or use the Service.

5. Credits, billing, and the beta price

• KOVIQ uses a credits system. New accounts receive a starting credit allowance (currently 600 credits during beta). Generating an AI video or a clip consumes credits at rates shown in the app, which may change as we tune pricing.
• The current beta subscription price is displayed on our Billing page and reflects a limited-time discount for early beta users. Pricing may change for future users or after the beta period ends.
• Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider (Lemon Squeezy), which acts as the merchant of record for these transactions. Your payment relationship for billing purposes is with that provider, not directly with KOVIQ.
• Refunds: You can cancel your subscription at any time, which stops future billing. If you are within the first 7 days of your first payment and have used less than 10% of your monthly credit allowance, you may request a full refund by contacting us. Outside of this window, credits already consumed are not refundable, as the underlying generation costs have already been incurred.

6. Third-party services

KOVIQ relies on several third-party AI and infrastructure providers to function, including but not limited to OpenAI, fal.ai, ElevenLabs, Creatomate, Vizard.ai, and Google/YouTube APIs. Your use of KOVIQ is also subject to the acceptable use policies of these underlying providers where applicable. We are not responsible for outages, errors, or content quality issues originating from these third-party services.

7. Content ownership

Subject to Section 3 above (your responsibility for rights to any underlying/clipped material), you own the videos and clips generated through your use of KOVIQ. We do not claim ownership over your generated content.

8. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. As a beta product, KOVIQ may be unreliable, contain bugs, or change without notice. We do not guarantee that generated content will be accurate, error-free, non-offensive, or suitable for any particular purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KOVIQ and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost revenue, lost data, platform account penalties, or copyright claims arising from content you chose to generate or publish.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, particularly in cases of suspected abuse, illegal use, or violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, particularly during the beta period as the product evolves. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
